ANDEC Mfg. Ltd. is the Canadian leader in the High Technology field of NonDestructive Examination (NDE) equipment, instrumentation and accessory components, specialising in the practical application of Ultrasonics and Eddy Currents to detect defects or unacceptable material conditions.

ANDEC employs a number of full time professionals in the fields of NDE and Electrical/Electronic, mechanical and Software design engineering, development and manufacturing. In it's 1400 m² (15,000 ft²) facility, located next to Toronto's International  Airport, ANDEC's in-house capabilities include electronic instrumentation design, circuit board layout, systems assembly, complete 3D CAD, and a full machine shop and fabricating facilities.

During Twenty years of intensive development, ANDEC's experienced personnel have designed, constructed and installed NDE equipment in nuclear and fossil fired generating stations, automotive parts plants, aerospace facilities, airlines, steel, aluminium and copper mills ( rod, bar, wire and plate) as well as in many other diversified facilities.

ANDEC has supplied the NDE expertise on joint projects with government, university and private research facilities, in the development of new and often unique products. Among these products are systems measure animal meat/fat ratios, to test truck tires for leaks and delaminations, and to detection of foreign particles in molten metal, as well as more standard flaw detection and material sorting projects. ANDEC continues to have formal research and development agreements with many research institutions world-wide, which provide ANDEC with access to their expertise and equipment.
